These sun and moon dangles were inspired by celestial art from the era of Gods and Goddesses, particularly Eostre (Ostara). Eostre is known as The Goddess of Dawn and Spring and is historically tied to the festival of the Spring Equinox. Today we tend to celebrate this festival as her namesake holiday, Easter.
Here I have adapted traditional visuals of suns into a vibrant colour block of fun and warmth with a yellow face surrounded by vibrant orange and pink solar flares (or sun rays).
Sun Dangles are available in two variations. Select from the style options above for either the unique Glow in the Dark Moon top or the simple and classic gold ball stud. Each sun holds a 15mm Crystal Suncatcher bead in a faceted teardrop shape.
These earrings are made from polymer clay with hypoallergenic surgical steel studs and bullet clutch earring backings.
